Injuries and surgery of the lower extremity joints are quite common. Arthritis (degradation of joints) causes pain, poor flexibility and thus problems with movement. Fractures of the lower extremities (hip, thigh bone, shinbone and ankle fractures) cause immediate walking inability.
Get back on your feet as soon as possible
Most of the injuries of the lower extremity bones are treated surgically. Surgery due either to wearing-off or injury should be followed by quality rehabilitation. It is mandatory that the correct walking pattern is restored which is achieved with the help of prompts (crutches, stilt). The programme includes exercises for the joints, reduction of the swelling and strengthening of the muscles. We use state-of-the-art methods of physical and rehabilitation medicine as well as the beneficial effects of thermal water for hydrotherapy as soon as the condition allows. Professional rehabilitation means faster and complete recuperation after major surgery.
The programme includes:
- examination by a specialist*,
- 6 x per week individual medical gymnastics,
- 6 x per week occupational therapy, a CPM splint,
- 6 x per week pain relief therapy,
- 6 x per week hydrogymnastics,
- counselling on further steps.
- lodging with half board,
- unlimited swimming.
