Active break
The beautiful coastal environment offers guests endless opportunities to discover their surroundings, either on foot or by bike. From sporting equipment and facilities to children’s toys, Talaso Strunjan’s green park has everything you need for an active holiday.
Cycling, hiking and Nordic walking
From the seaside resort of Talaso Strunjan you have access to eight well-marked trails totalling 80 kilometres in length. Take a walk or hop on a bike to discover the fertile countryside covered in olive groves, orchards, and vineyards and explore the mysterious karst formations. Not far away are three characteristically Adriatic towns: Tartini's Piran, the fishing village of Izola, and cosmopolitan Portorož.
A map of cycling and walking paths is provided at the Svoboda Hotel reception desk.
Cycling routes on the coast
In Slovenian Istria, by the sea, conditions for hiking and cycling are ideal all year round, avoiding only the hottest summer days. For outdoor enthusiasts, the sea is particularly attractive in winter and early spring, when it is still cold, snowy or foggy on the mainland.
