Ceremony and celebrations
The wedding ceremony can be prepared outdoors in the mighty castle courtyard surrounded by medieval walls, or in the privacy of the Knight's Salon. Wedding ceremonies at the castle are performed by a team of registrars from the Novo Mesto municipality. Our weddings are officially legally valid and recognised in all countries.
You can opt for a wedding ceremony together with a reception, or just a reception. Wedding lunches and dinners are available to celebrate your joyous event in the elegant and intimate atmosphere of the castle restaurant.
Otočec Castle was also chosen by the best Slovenian hockey player Anže Kopitar and his bride-to-be for their wedding day.
